→ 山田選手は、高校は名門・桜花学園に進み、

全国優勝を何度も経験！

 

…ですので、高校までも数多くのスキルを

身につけていたとは思いますが、

驚いたことに本人曰く、

「ドリブルスキルが身についたのは、

正確には去年から！」

とのこと！

 

→ 最近ではロサンゼルスに行き

ワークアウトを受けてきたり、

オフもスキルアップに励んでいるようです！

 

そんな山田選手がおっしゃっていたことで、

非常に印象に残っていることがあります！

「バスケットをする上で心がけていること」

を聞いてみると、

 

「私のモットーの１つは“3ヶ月と1日”です。

教わってすぐできるものではなくて、

それは、3ヶ月と1日目に成果がでます。

 

もし今の状態が悪ければ、

3ヶ月と1日前の自分です。

そう考えて毎日毎日努力しています！」

 

…なるほど！

この言葉を聞いて、

解釈のしかたは色々とあると思いますが、

もりもりは、

「教えてもらったことや、発見したことは、

その日に身につくものではない！

継続しつづけ、3ヶ月経てば、

身について使えるようになっている！」

と解釈しました！

プロ選手からの貴重なことば、

こどもたちにもぜひ大切にしてほしいですね♪
