“本音を語ります！〜中学時代〜”

前回（ミニバス編）のつづきです！

…中学時代、

「目標は全中優勝！！！」

同級生たちと一緒に

高いこころざしをもって入学！

（岩手・紫波第一中学校）

 

いざ入学してみると…

ロードワークな毎日！！！

（3.5kmコース！）

 

持久力はつきましたが、

成長痛（オスグット）に悩まされていたぼくにとっては、

きびしいロードワークでした…！

 

（※あなたは、

バスケット選手にとって

ロードワークは必要だと思いますか？^ ^）

 

戦績は…

1、2年生のときは、

県大会1回戦負け…

 

ミニバス時代、

県でほとんど負けたことがないぼくらにとって

かなりショックな経験でした…

 

3年生になり、

「絶対に負けられない！」

という想いでチーム一丸となり、

最後の県大会では、準優勝！

 

→ 東北大会に進むことができました！

（もりもりは何番でしょうか！？^ ^）

 

…しか〜し！

東北大会では予選リーグ敗退…

 

中学バスケット生活に

幕を閉じたのでした！

 

…戦績はこの通りでしたが、

「中学バスケット、超楽しかったぜ！」

と、心から思えました！

 

理由の一つは、

超ユニークなコーチ（カマタさん）との出会い！

 

練習メニューがユニーク！

オリジナルなハンドリングメニューを取り入れる方でした♪

 

もりもりが

今でもパフォーマンスで取り入れている技である、

“ボール2個をつかったハンドリング”は

カマタさんから学んだ技でもあります♪

 

…大人になってからカマタさんと再会し、

話を聞いてみると、

「中学のうちは個人スキルをやってれば十分！

高校になればみんなチーム別れるし、

戦術は高校になってから学べばいい！」

ということをおっしゃっていました♪

 

（めぐまれたコーチと会えたな〜！）

 

…しか〜し、

ドリブルに関しては、

相変わらずヘタクソだったんです…！

 

（ポジションは

ポイントガード、シューティングガードだったにもかかわらず…！）

 

チームには、

県選抜に2年連続選ばれるような

“超エース”がいたこともあり、

ボール運びは任せることがほとんど！

 

（ 頼れる仲間がいると、

そりゃあ、頼ってしまいますよね…！）

 

しか〜し、何よりも、

「おれはドリブルできない！」

という小学生のときからの“先入観”が、

なかなか上達しなかった原因と思います！

 

…さぁ〜て、

高校生となったら

どういう選手となるのかっ！？

 

→ どうやって苦手なドリブルを

克服することができたのか！？
