…銀行員を辞めたその後、

転職しました！

（福祉関係の仕事ヘ！）

 

→ 生活リズムは…

★平日

夕方まで→仕事

夜から→バスケットスクール

★土日

スクール or パフォーマンス

…という毎日に！

 

→ この転職のタイミングで

スクール（レッスン）を始めることができました！

「こどもたちにバスケットの楽しさを伝えたい！」

という想いが、形になりました♪

（もう3年前になりますね！）

 

…知らない方が多いと思いますが、

当初は“ 1on1”ではなく、

『フリースタイルバスケ』のみ教えていました！

（当時の広告！）

フリースタイルバスケを

多くの子どもたちに楽しんでもらうことができました♪

 

しか〜し！

“レッスン内容”は変化していきます！

→ 『試合で活躍するためのテクニック！』

これを取り入れていくことになりました。

…なぜなら、

スクールに来てくれる子の保護者さんたちは

「試合で活躍、なかなかできないんです…」

「おすすめのハンドリング練習ありますか？」

「うちの子、ドリブルどうしたらうまくなれますか？」

このような“悩み”を持っている保護者さん・子どもたちが多かったんです！

 

そのときに、

「そうか！フリースタイルバスケのテクニックを

バスケットの上達につなげてみよう！」

と思ったんです！

 

…もりもり自身の話を振り返りますと、

★小、中、高では、ドリブルがウマくなかった！

★大学でフリースタイルバスケに出会い、

ドリブル、ハンドリングが格段にうまくなった！

こうだったんです！

大学時代に競技バスケットから離れ、

フリースタイルバスケにとことん取り組んだ結果、

自然に上手になっていたんです！

 

「もりもりの子ども時代のときのように、

ハンドリング、ドリブルで悩みを抱えている子が多いのか！

そういう子たちを助けたい！」

→ 強く思うようになりました！

バスケットの悩みをもつ皆さんに、共感できるからです！

 

（もし、自分自身が超ウマくて、

プロのバスケット選手になれているくらいだったら、

悩みに共感をもつことはできなかったと思います！）

 

そして…レッスンでは

“試合で活躍するために！”

という視点でメニューをつくるようになりました！

 

…その結果、うれしいことに

「ドリブル上達しました！」

「ハンドリングがうまくなり、ミスが減りました！」

という声を聞けるようになり、

何よりも、

「スクールが楽しくて、

以前より積極的にバスケットに取り組むようになりました！」

という声も多くいただくことができました！

★バスケットが上達した！

★バスケットが楽しくなった！

「これぞ、フリースタイルバスケが子どもたちに役立つことだ！」

と、感じることができました！

 

「もっと多くの子どもたちの成長を手助けしたい！」

という想いで始めたのが、

“出張レッスン”でごわっす！

アイドルでいう、

『週末に会えるアイドル！』のごとく、

『会いに来てくれるコーチ！』

こんなイメージ！笑

 

…出張レッスンを始めてから、

多くの指導者さんたちに

声をかけていただけるようになりました！

「Facebookで見て、楽しそうですね！」

「1on1上達のために、ドリブル指導をお願いします！」

「わたしはいつも怒ってばっかりなので、楽しく指導してほしいです…」

このようなお話をいただけるようになりました！

 

…こうして、スクールや出張レッスンを通し、

多くの子どもたちと出会ってきました！

…活動を続けていくと、幸いなことに、

『月刊バスケットボール』にて

テクニックを掲載していただけることもできました！
